ELSINORE - MIRACLES CAN HAPPEN!!!........

Post by Richard - Sonora »

So, being long-of-tooth and having grown up fishing SoCal, I remember when, in the 60's and 70's Elsinore was simply a mudflat. That said, a strange thing happened. El Nino! So much rain that the upstream lake - then called Railroad Canyon - overflowed and sent downstream lots of fish!! Rain in subsequent years brought Elsinore up so high that the campgrounds on west end flooded. In fact, in the 80's I caught my wading-PB while standing on top of a submerged picnic table!! (OK, it was 9.4 LMB).
Miracles have happened before. They can happen again. Tight Lines Buddies!!
