new boat ??????????

well new to me...anyways next week i'm getting an '86 Stratos 189. So this is my first boat, do you guys have any suggestions for me. Any would be a great deal of help. Thanks guys ahead of time

Last thing to consider - if there is anything that causes you to wonder aobut its condition, PASS! This time of year there are lots of boats available as folks upgrade their existing rigs. Once in awhile you come across a gem that's sitting collecting dust that you can get for a real bargain! If that's the case the motor will need at least a new water pump and if carburated may have some gummy buildup in the carbs and fuel pump that'll need work.
