It will probably take "WE" to catch them. Why can't DFG stake out the area and catch them? That is part of what they are paid for, right? Sounds like my area, chemicals being put into the lake to kill off vegetation for summer tourists and DFG and water control just ignores the problem. Bill K :(
Fun fishing the country, each and every week.

It seems they are not even trying to hide what they are doing. Hanging it on a road marker for all to see. They are asking to be caught. It has happened 2 times now that we know of, Low lifes are Probably reading these threads and using it as a way to get us fired up as part of their sick game.... :x

Aren't most tree huggers animal huggers, too?....

Makes no sense. Whoever it is is just a hater....& they must want attention, so they're not just 'fish haters'. A disturbed individual or two....perhaps taking fish by poison or shock? Do these fish show signs of being hook caught?...

Somebody's not getting enough at home....& has to go out & eff with other people to get his nut. This is a shame. To take out a personal problem on.....fish......and the rest of us.

There has to be a DFG person assigned to the area, hopefully notified already. Shows where sportsmen need to stick together & keep an eye on things. Sometimes, our sportsmen's role as conservationist has to go beyond 'catch and release'......like apprehend, arrest, & prosecute. If we don't protect our resources, who will? & after all, we're the ones out there day-in, day-out. (It's not like there are enough DFG folks to go around.)

Good luck, guys, & post up when the fool gets caught. Sounds like only a matter of time...
It's just a beating.....till you fight back.

That is nauseating to see....good chance that fish would be full of eggs too. Probably some punk kids with no regard for anything just trying to be funny. I have never really had much faith in the DFG enforcing anything. If they dont see it or have video, they usually will not even look into it. On top of that, I'm pretty sure the DFG has CUT its number of wardens the last couple of years, so they are grossly understaffed. I read somewhere that a couple of the more remote counties only had a couple wardens for the WHOLE county. It is too bad they can't have a common presence, like the police.

Sounds weird to me.If i remember right the last one was right after a tournament also. There were tournaments up at pedro this weekend and some more fish on the side of the road.Is it there dead fish they dont weigh in or what.Maybe a beginner tournament angler that needs a old fashion reality check. The tournament officials need to start bringing this up at the tournaments weigh in.Maybe keep everyones eyes open and see who the punk is doing this.It keeps up there goes the sport we all love.

Johnny is right, one person can't hurt the population of bass in any lake and that act was purely for attention.

I highly doubt its a tourney guy. It's probably some kids just being dumb.

I think what your doing is good..At the very least you have made us aware of the foolishness and maybe we might see them in the act and straighten them out...But it might help not to give them any more attention...Just my thought..
