Teaser Fishing the Beach - BABY BASS Schoolie Striper Action. Had a good word from a great fellow angler that a small bass bite was on the beach and it was! Loaded my fishing bag with some top waters, swimmers and needle fish with a sack of teasers and hit the beach this late afternoon for some fast striper action. Although the striped bass were small they were plentiful in the few hours I was there. I missed many of the small rats in 12 different ways but still landed a bunch.

These small striped bass seem to be crafty when hitting, fighting and dogging the camera! Most of the juvenile striper hit the teaser and yellows seemed to be keyed in on. The bass bite seemed to last till dark then turned off. I had hopes of a bigger fish at night but these little feller's have a curfew, not sure why but maybe schoolies need to get up early to go to school?
