Legend boat owners V20

Post by bass343 »

Hello fello legend boat owners,

This post is more directed at Legend boat owners out there. I know there's not many out there but I would love to hear your opinion on the Legend boats.

I'm in the market on buying a new fully rigged bass boat this spring. I actually came to the classic to see the debute of the new Bass Cat Lynx, and I have to say I'm really impressed. But after walking around the Classic Expo looking at other boat companies, Legend boats caught my attention, especially the V20. They are really nice, but I don't know much about them. I'm really torn between Basscat and Legend. Legend boat owners can u give me reasons why I should by a Legend. Thanks

I know 2 guys that Have v20 s,Both say their gas gauges dont work.I have a 199 which is narrower than the v 20.
It rides better in the 2-3 ft waves than any of my older boats.

Dave thanks for the reply. To me gauges is not a big issue, that's an easy fix. I had a couple of gauges that didn't work o my Ranger. I'm more worried about how it rides, stability and quality of the boat. Is it worth getting a Legend? I just don't know enough about them to pull the trigger on a Legend. They look really nice and seems to be built pretty solid. But do the boats hold up?

I own a 211 alpha. I love it, everyone else who fishes with me, loves it. Its the best rough water boat I've ever been in other than Champions. If this matters, in my opinion, they are the best looking boats on the market. When I was looking for a new boat I had 3 boats I was interested in...Legend, Basscat, and Ranger. I'm really happy I went with legend. But all of those 3 boats are awesome and do one thing better than other boats.

I have a 2013 LegenD Alpha. Well equipped boat and built solid. Its one of the sexier boats out there. Like the previous poster, I get a ton of compliments on it whether at the gas pump, at the ramp, or even when on the road. Fishes well for a 20 ft. bote. Not the fastest (68-69 GPS with 225 hp.) with full tourney load. Definitely a solid fishing platform for 2 guys on the front. Pro and cons of course, but you will be quite happy your purchase. Only thing missing is a local dealer support. Lots of great choices out there.
