Yamaha Mechanic
Yamaha Mechanic
Anyone know of a good Yamaha mechanic in the East Bay? My old ProV 150 stopped pumping water. I had replaced the impeller and it worked fine for several trips, but suddenly it's not circulating through the motor. Tore it apart again and there were no obvious problems. Now it's above my pay grade.
Re: Yamaha Mechanic
I'm not sure about Yamaha but I won't take my Evinrude anywhere but Boatmasters in Livermore. They run a first rate operation and I've been burned by too many other "professionals".

not in the east bay but well worth the drive...wright marine in lodi, certified yami mechanic. Great rates and honest!
Re: Yamaha Mechanic
I'd take my boat to Boatmasters in a heartbeat, but they don't service Yamahas.

Re: Yamaha Mechanic
I tried a Google search on Wright Marine and found virtually nothing on the business. No website, no reviews, nothing.

+1 on Wright marine....Richard knows his stuff and is a real good guy. 209-335-7885
Re: Yamaha Mechanic
+2 on Wright Motors Marine. Richard is a Yamaha and Evinrude specialist. Honest, great mechanic and reasonably priced. You will be satisfied.
Re: Yamaha Mechanic
I made an appointment with Wrights Marine today, the guy is really busy. Earliest appointment was June 30th. Thanks guys for all the suggestions.

There's a reason for that. If he weren't booked I would be worried! ; > )
