This should be a fun event!!
There are always new places to go fishing. For any fisherman, there's always a new place, always a new horizon.

Had the great fortune of fishing this event and winning with my partner Matt Hevener in 2016. Turned out to be one of the greatest times of my life. We were flown to Little Rock where we were picked up by Rick Pierce whose family founded Bass Cat. Rick is a great guy, bass boat manufacturing committed to the bone and has been with Bass Cat his entire life with the exception of school. He proceeded to drive us to Mountain Home Arkansas but took back roads through the mountains where he showed us his old stomping grounds. Once at Bass Cat we went on a plant tour and were given the keys to our loaner boat and tow vehicle provided by Bass Cat. From there we proceeded to tournament fish on 5 iconic bodies of water including Table Rock, Taneycomo, Bull Shoals, White River and finishing on Norfork in two days. The format was similar to Major League Fishing which was chosen by Rick in an effort to level the playing field. Bass Cat paid for the entire trip including air fare hotels and two dinners. It was the trip of a lifetime I will never forget. I could go on for days about the experience but will end by saying that if you own a Bass Cat you seriously want to fish this event.

The 2017 West Coast Bass Cat Owner's tournament is in the books and we have a deserving Championship Team! The team of Greg and Warren Spohn will be heading to Mountain Home, AR later this year to represent the West at the Bass Cat Team Championship!

They took a commanding 6.40 lbs. lead on Saturday and even though Sunday proved to be a tough day for them, they were able to hold on for the victory.

Congratulations Greg and Warren Spohn!
