Fury 4 vs Bravo 1

Post by bass343 »

Does anybody run with a Mercury Fury 4 or a Bravo 1 prop on there outboard. I will be getting a G2 Evenrude with a 250. What do u guys recommend out there? I'm trying to get some ideas before I buy a prop.

I just switched from a Fury 3 25" to a Fury 4 25"
The difference is night and day with respect to lift mid range and top end performance...Even picked up 2 mph on top,...my buddy also put one on his Suzuki 250 and it made a HUGE diff on his performance as well.....

Dear Dan,

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of getting a 26 pitch. Is there a big difference on performance between the 25 and 26 pitch?

Thanks,
Dan

that really depends on your hull and how your boat is equipped...i.e power pole, talons, number of batteries etc....
I have a Ranger 520c and the 25 worked best for me......
