Swim bait

Post by RA8R55 »

Hey folks, in the market for some big swimbaits. Not sure what to go with. Hard, soft, single or multi jointed. I fish the Delta, Oroville, Bullards just to name a few (for bass). Just want to know what's a good brand and style to go with.

The term swimbait has been hijacked to include 3 1/2" Kietech to 10" Butch Brown boot trials just in the soft single hook category.
So what type of rod/reel do you have and lure weight limits?

Deps 175 in Shad & 250 in trout, slow sink.
Hud 68 & 8" ROF 12 is rainbow trout.
9" MS Slammer wake bait, Hitch.
Should keep you busy with proven baits.

Wak n crank and wade hogg by toxic baits are easily the best swimbaits for the delta day in day out. I also love as slammer on the delta.
