Any suggestions for a guide on clear lake.. want to take a good friend there to learn the lake

I personally took a guided trip with Bob Myskey, he was excellent. Matt Allen would be an amazing guide as well. Watch his videos on Youtube "tacticalbassin".

Most of the guides are booked pretty full for march. I would call asap.At least two weeks notice.

I have been a guide long enough to learn the patterns of clients. Spring is the time everyone wants to get on the water - especially after this present weather pattern! Fishing is good and the chance for a trophy bass is best in the spring. It is a good idea when trying to book a trip to have more than one choice of dates available. I know that is often hard because of work schedules, friends or family visiting at a certain time, etc. The problem with Clear Lake or Berryessa is they are very popular and have a heavy tournament schedule. Guides really book up fast for spring trips and your first choice may not be available. I know I am nearly totally booked for March and sure that the other excellent guides could be in the same boat. I mean 'bass boat - LOL"
