Clear Lake, Its coming

I hope so! I'm heading up this weekend. I saw Paul Bailey posting pictures on IG saying the big ones are starting to bite. Can't wait! Tight lines!

Was at Clear lake last Thursday and boated a 9lb 2 oz.

Went out today, the bite in the morning was hot. fish every cast at one point. As soon as 12:30 hit, the bite died. I was fishing docks and had 4-5 schools of 10+ bass around me and they weren't interested in anything other than bedding and courting. I heard many others struggled in the afternoon but it was still an amazing day with over 20 fish boated. One thing I noticed was the lake is really low compared to last years flooding. Hopefully the coming rain will bring the levels up a little bit more. Jerkbait bite was going off! Going to be a fun summer on CL...

Fished it from March 28-31. Lots of action and boated a few bigger ones, especially on the north end and around the shallower docks. The fish are FAT, even the little guys. All four days the water temps were on the rise with no winds and improving water clarity - which is nice for a change!

Anybody know if you can launch out of lucerene at this current level?

^^I launched out of Lucerne last Monday and Tuesday. It's good for now. Plenty of fish close by also.
