Winners bust a 32.94 bag at FPT's New Melones Opener!

The 2019 FPT opened it's season for the central region in grand fashion as a total field of 113 came to play at the kick-off event dubbed the "Calaveras Clash", where the winners delivered a five-fish limit that came just shy of 33 pounds.

The bite is on at New Melones... and the fact that this event required 16 pounds to get into the top fifteen, has teams who qualified for only 100 berths available in the FPT Classic Championship event (coming to New Melones in just 2 weeks), either excited about what's ahead or worried about the fact that they have a lot of work to do.
