Convenient Check - This will take place on Friday 1st afternoon beween 4 PM and 6 PM at the BBT trailer. Remember to receive the $10 Discount fee, you must sign-in by Thursday by 11:59 PM online or mail in your check with your entry form. All checks must arrive by Thursday prior to the tournament.

Lake Berryessa's famous Glory Hole spills today

There are a few telltale signs it's been an especially rainy winter in Northern California. Often there are mudslides (check), tons of snow in the Sierra (yup, got that), and then there's the Glory Hole. That benchmark was also passed Tuesday morning.

The Glory Hole is Lake Berryessa's unconventional spillway. When the North Bay gets lots of rain, the Napa County reservoir fills and water starts to spill into the hole. It operates similar to a bathtub drain, but, in this case, the drain isn't at the bottom of the tub. Instead, it's located near the top.
