Earlier in the week, Tas Moua of Fresno, CA was pre-fishing with a buddy. They located a key area with water that was 2 degrees warmer than the rest of the lake. On game day, he went back to the spot and started fishing the points that led to small creeks and channels. He located staging fish in 10 to 20 feet and had 6 bites all day. He caught 1 on a spinnerbait, 4 on the drop shot and 1 on a green pumpkin TM jig. It was this jig, that put Moua’s 21-inch big fish on the board. Moua’s best 4 fish measured a total 68.5 inches in length and earned him the title of the 2019 CVKF Eastman Lake Champion.
Big Fish of the tournament was an impressive personal best, 11 pound, 26-inch largemouth landed by Ger Xiong of Fresno, CA on a Ned Rig.

1. Tas Moua – 68.5 inches
2. Brad Hale – 67.25 inches
