My buddy Bryce Dibble and I took his two young boys out for a few fun fish catching hours on Lake McClure, and catch fish they did. We targeted main lake rocky points from 5'-35' of water throwing jigs and tube baits, with a few underspin fish mixed in.
Today was all about trying to keep the kids on fish, and we were throwing baits with exposed hooks so they could get a hook set easier into the fish. We fished slow and caught fish consistently, probably boating 35+ largemouth and spotted bass, not bad for 5 and 6 year old!
