Can someone give me a little more info on this cool little reel I found in my Dads fishing cabinet. Never seen one like this before. Thanks.

Having the original box in that great condition will make it worth more . I'd look around for an antique fishing reel forum to get an Idea of value and info on the reel .

Did a little more digging through some old fishing boxes and came across a little more info on the reel. Looks like it’s made by Taico (a Japanese company)? Pretty interesting to see how simple these old reels where. Check out the tear-down diagram below.
Here is some specs on the reel:
175yds of 15lb test
Gear ratio 1:4
Level wind
On-off click.
