39 years ago today, John Baldino caught this enormous 32.2 kg (71 lb) striped bass to set the men's 15 kg (30 lb) line class world record. Baldino used a live menhaden (bunker) for bait, and was fishing off Norwalk, Connecticut United States when the record striper hit. Rod: Shakespeare Fishing. Reel: PENN Fishing.
