Sherry Battaglia caught this 25-pound, 10-ounce landlocked striped bass on July 4, 2019 to potentially set the new IGFA Women's 6 kg (12 lb) Line Class World Record. Battaglia was fishing the Liberty Reservoir in Sykesville, Maryland and needed 15 minutes to land the potential record striper after it crushed the perch she was using for bait.
