Trolling motor noise underwater

Post by mark poulson »

This guy's video, at the 10 minute mark, does a really good job recording the difference in the underwater sound of a new Motor Guide, Lowrance Ghost, and Garmin Force.

I wish they would have also tested out the difference between these 3 new trolling motors and compared it to the Ultrex (at least in terms of how quite or loud it is in comparison)

The Lowrance Ghost claims to be the quietest of the new 3 TM's using a brushless motor. My guess is the motor is quite and the prop is noisy. Noise is noise it doesn't mater what is generating it but props are easy change to make, motors no.
I remember the Ninja props back in the day to cut weeds and they did but the prop also shut down bites!
