This is my first post here so hey all! My son does high school bass fishing here in Nor Cal and we just got a nice used Ranger 520. The compartment lights are all lousy.
My question is what is some of the better brands to consider and does anyone have any tips that have done it ?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Best LED Lights for Compartments?
I used the waterproof leds from amazon similar to this
https://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Waterpr ... +led+strop
On the compartments without carpet they are adhesive backed and then ran a bead of silicone so they stay put long term. You just cut to length and solder on your power and ground wires. On the carpet I just poked small holes and used the adhesive and then put zip ties through the holes every six inches or so. Wired each compartment on a micro switch so lights are only on once the main light switch is turned on and then the compartment opened. Turned out awesome other than a few trips to the chiropractor after twisting all around installing them. The switches came from amazon as well.

The waterproof, billet, shock proof 4X4 lights are what I used to replace all the original lighting. I ordered them on Amazon and installation was amazingly easy as I tied them right into the existing power supplies. These are the lights used for rock crawlers etc, very hearty.
