The passing of a fishing legend ... Jerry McKinnis
Jerry McKinnis, former B.A.S.S. co-owner, founder of JM Associates, and a legend in the fishing industry, passed away early Sunday morning.
He had been in the hospital for six weeks, dealing with an injury and infection sustained on a fishing trip in Wyoming. McKinnis was 82 years old.

He was a good man. Back in the 70's I used to watch his show with my two oldest sons, and they became fishermen for life.

He & Billy Westmoreland had the best lite line shows ever. Remember him catching big trevally in Guam on a spook, old pistol grip rod & 6# line
