Delta Largemouth?

Post by sdavis24 »

Been a few weeks since I've been out there. Is it worth heading out tomorrow or has it been really slow?

Its always worth going out imho. Fish are still there and at some point have to eat. Try to have a positive attitude and maybe explore some different techniques you don't normally use. Even if you have fished the delta for 50 years there is always something to learn. Good luck.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at the office!

I fished it yesterday and the bite was real slow. I had six bites from about 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and landed just five fish. No real size but fun. I am not sure if it counted but that was only three days after full moon. It can only be getting better now.
Fish bite twice a day - half hour before I get there and half hour after I leave.

Went out for a few hours and fished Taylor and Piper Sloughs. Caught 13, no size. Mostly on a jerkbait.
