Not slowing down from his AOY year on the Wild West Bass Trail in 2019 Greg Gutierrez kept it going into the kick off event at Lake Shasta by taking home the win and the $25,000 in prize money. Greg added the only trophy he was missing on his home lake and he joins us to tell us all about his win. He is also going to have some current info on Clear Lake since that is where he will be calling in from live.
The Vista High School Fishing Team is getting ready for their Open High School Tournament on Folsom Lake on February 16th and Brennon Sharp from the Vista club joins us to tell us how you can get involved if you are a high school angler or if you have a boat and want to help get these young anglers on the water. This is one of the largest events in the area and the anglers need your help.
It was a sad week with the loss of Ranger Boats founder Forrest Wood and we will discuss his legacy and influence on the bass fishing world.
The WON Bass Arizona Open kicks off next week at Lake Havasu and we are going to hook up with last years champion Todd Woods live from the water to see how his practice is going and to hear about his efforts to raise money for the Borofka's and their young son JT whom is fighting a battle at Stanford and needs the help of our fishing family.
Get ready the guys are all loaded and wrapped up and they are getting ready to kick off both the Bass Pro Tour and the Bassmaster Elite Series next week.
