G. Loomis 904 SWBR. Glide Baits ?

Post by Hybridmachine »

I need a rod for 2-3oz baits, mainly Glides... ( Sneaky Pete/SW 200.. )
Really like the 7'6"... I have the 966 and Love it. Its my Huddleston / 5-6oz rod.
I could opt for another 966 yet I like the idea of a softer rod. I don't need the "Horsepower" for these baits...

Anyone have a 904 SWBR, whats your thoughts ?

Thanks

I have a GL swimbait rod and also use it for flipping, pitching, big surface and deep swimmers.
I have used it for large spinners.
that said I use braid and swap out leaders
