CA Water Wars - A different perspective

Post by DDG »

I figured since majority of the articles posted here are deprived from a more anti Trump perspective I thought I would share this article:

I'm pro Trump but I didn't get anything out of that article. So they get more water so they can make more money but in return everyone and everything suffers.

This article just highlights the fact that trump is trying to help out the Farmers in the central valley.

He's helping his wealthy contributors at the expense of the rest of us.

Do you seriously believe every farmer is a multi millionaire? There are more farmers farming less than a 100 ac than over and most of them have to work a day job to get by. Gawd damn Socialism.....Politicians taking from the haves and giving to the have nots. MAGA 2020.

“ Can you imagine a state being rationed, when you have millions and millions and millions of gallons being poured out into the Pacific Ocean that you could have? And you’d have more water than knew what to do with. It’s crazy”

This is the same rhetoric used by Jerry Brown to make the tunnels, this isn’t a new perspective this is the same stuff with the same paper.

Central Valley water is about corporate farmers getting paid, taking our water, speculating it and reselling it at a premium. If we care so much about the farmers what about all the farms on the tracts and islands?

This is a bi-partisan moneygrab the fact that the feds got into the hustle to get paid by the lobbyists proves it further - newsome and trump aren’t fighting to protect- it’s a turf war and they fighting for a payoff
