BBT - SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Lake Oroville Update March 21

Post by BestBassTournaments »

We at the BBT have always held the health and safety of our family of Anglers in the highest regard. After careful consideration and given today’s announcement that several Bay Area Counties have been given guidelines to “shelter in place” including the banning of non essential travel (beginning March 17th at 12:01am - April 7th), the BBT executive board has decided to postpone the March 21st event at Lake Oroville.
Our events are meant to be fun and a way to get away from the stresses of everyday life but we can not classify them as essential and must conform with the guidelines set forth by the Governor and State Heath Officials. We are working on setting a new date and will keep our anglers apprised.
At this point all other BBT events will continue as scheduled understanding that this is all new to us and more changes are possible. Please watch our social media outlets as well as your email for further announcements. If you have already paid for the event at Oroville we can move the entry fee to another tournament or give a refund. We at the BBT stand behind our anglers and their families as well as our sponsors and industry sponsors during these tough times. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you soon!
Thank you for your support and

I know that this decision didn’t come easy for Randy and The BBT. But given yesterday and today’s information it is the right one.

Thankfully in practice of isolation we can still enjoy some fishing this spring
