Post by Alex Shawn »

Hello guys!!!
I hope you are safe in this pandemic.
At first, I am sorry that i am not good at English.
Let's come to the point, I want to know which hook is perfect to catch catfish and where may i find them? If they stung on my hand whats need to do? Are they toxic?

Any medium sized bait hook will work. Use a 1 oz weight and hook on a piece of hot dog, chicken liver, anchovie, or anything smelly and let it soak on the bottom. When you catch a catfish, watch out for its whiskers.

Barbels (whiskers) will not sting you. The boney rays (spines of fins) will puncture your skin and leave infections. Use an old towel to hold fish when taking the hook out. Good luck fishin.
