FLW Delta Tournament August 19-21

Due to some incorrect information on our website some of you who are signed up for the August 19-21 FLW Delta Tournament are getting notifications that show an 8 hour tournament. The tournament will consist of 6 hour fishing days in accordance with California Regulations. Sorry about the mix up.

By the time guys blast off and come back for weigh in, it’s a 5 hour tournament day...and the busiest time of year on the Delta with fishermen, wake boarders, and pleasure boaters, not safe for an FLW tournament with the amount of running guys will have to do. Plus, why have guys spend the money on lodging, meals, gas, etc plus prefishing, for short fishing days. You are going to have safety issues and a small turnout, it needs to be moved to the third week of September.

I agree, 6 hour tournaments are the worst.

Yeah I'm sure FLW has it's reasons but six hour tourneys always suck ... club level to Majors. But hey maybe they can reduce their entry fee by 25% ?!? hahaha. (not gonna happen) ... its gonna be a slow one.

Its Not their call. F&G rules state that between 6/15 through 9/15 all tournaments have to be limited to 6hrs.

So when would you schedule the Clear Lake FLW Tournament ???????? That is in September ,and reschedule the US OPEN in October and Move the Wild West Championship Tournament that is in November and the FLW Championship for the Toyota Series that is in December ???
