Clear Lake Lodging ?

Post by Mitch »

Anybody have any information on lodging at Clear Lake. Would like to go up for 4 days the later part of the month of June. Any Motels, Resorts, Cabins, Air B&B's or even a camp ground. Thanks for any info !!

I called up yesterday hoping to stay sometime next week and the hotel I spoke with said they are still closed and hoping to get the go ahead sometime shortly after mid-June. I only called the one hotel as that is where I always stay, my guess though is they are all in the same situation.

Having had to re-schedule Clear Lake reservations now twice, All hotels & lodging in Lake County for "travel and leisure" are closed. Middle of June opening of lodging may be optimistic. These guys are getting killed right now being closed.

Being that cases have more than tripled in 2 weeks I would also say mid June is way optimistic. Shouod this continue I would say post 4th of July might be closer?

During the Memorial Day weekend I fished every day until 11am then cruised the lake with my wife in the tri-toon. At one point we were headed up the hi way 20 from the Oaks and went into the bay in Glen haven that has the Indian beach resort. Indian beach had a ton of cars and people.

I can't say what was going on there but something was, give them a call.

Well, thanks for all the replies !! I ended up finding an Air B&B in lower Lake that would work, but there was one stipulation. You or one of the group have to be a first Responder or an Essential Employee for them to rent to you at this time. Luckily, my Son in Law is an Essential, so we're good. Now, I just gotta get my gear ready, LOL !!!
