OROVILLE, Ca. The final event of the season for the Future Pro Tour will take place this weekend at Lake Oroville, from the Bidwell Canyon ramp, and will be the last opportunity for those trying to make the 2020 FPT Classic Championship to do so.

And while the lake's water levels are low, the beautiful thing about this giant "Gold Country" reservoir is that even at low levels, it holds tons of catchable fish.

Finding the "BIGGER Nugget"

But to win this on this lake - in the fall, FOCUS is imperative, and one must commit to locating "quality" pockets of fish, as QUALITY fish will be the only way to finish high and a possibly secure a berth into the Future Pro Tour's 2020 Classic Championship - presented by Gone Fishin' Marine of Dixon California.

RAM Trucks AOY Race

Lake Oroville will also be "ground zero" for three teams currently engaged in the Ram Trucks Angler of the Year race, and though last year's AOY winners (Shawn and Lloyd Dassonville), currently enjoy a comfortable lead, you can never be sure of ANYTHING when it comes to competitive bass fishing.

Stay tuned!

Remember...If you have never fished a FPT event... this Saturday presents a perfect opportunity for you do so, as late sign-ups will be taken at the Bidwell ramp beginning at 4am on Saturday, with limited membership fees of just $10 dollars available to those that can only make this event, or simply want to tryout FPT.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
