Thats great news! Still have a stash but weren't made as well as the older ones, hook holes wear out. BTW, is it possible to get a copy of the old article you were giving out?

It’s good to see pork jig trailers back on the market. This is niche market targeted for jig anglers who know pork works in all water temps because it stays soft with natural movements in cold or warm water. Soft plastics killed the pork trailer market because of the vast colors and shapes available and no fuss or mess using it.
Jig n pig is a jig with pork trailer that dates back 100 years or more and always caught big bass. Big bass is another small group of bass anglers in the know who use pork trailers.
Anyone interest in how to fish a “pig n jig” send me a PM.

For the the new bass anglers that are unfamiliar with pork rind jig trailers there are a few things you should know.
1. Pork trailers are nose hooked about 1/4” back, it’s not threaded onto the hook.
2. To prevent the pork trailer fowling the hook point use a 3/4 section of plastic worm threaded onto the hook shank.
3. Select pork trailers that float. You can soften and improve floatation by tenderizing with a meat hammer.
4. Wipe Vaseline on the jar threads to prevent the lid seizing.
5. Do not add soft plastic attractant scent, use a few drops of 100% pure anise oil.
6. Use a lure wrap to keep the pork wet when not using it.
7. To remove a trailer hold the jig hook upright bend towards you and pull down on the trailer to open the hole missing the barb. Save the trailer in the original jar.
8. Don’t over work a pork trailer, let it do it’s natural movements like a Senko.
Hope this helps! Like to see the pork trailers stay in business.
