Coudriet Conquers the 2021 FTD Winter Classic
Coudriet Conquers the 2021 FTD Winter Classic
When the dust settled it was Mark Coudriet of Sacramento, CA who came out on top. He chose to fish one of his local favorites, Folsom Lake. He reported that he had his best day fishing there the weekend before so he decided to enter his first ever bass tournament.
He started the day out of Brown’s Ravine and found a 19.5 incher (big fish of the tournament) early on a ned rig. His second big fish came at around 10 AM when the wind died down a little. He then spent the rest of the day trying to upgrade his smallest fish and was able to find one at the end of the day that gave him an extra ¼ inch. He ended up with an impressive 56 inch 3 fish limit that included two nineteen inch plus tanks!
Mark reported that the most productive bite for him was a ned rig fished in shallow rocky areas adjacent to deeper water. What a spectacular performance for his first ever tournament.
Here’s your top ten:
Mark Coudriet – 56 inches
Jinno Magno – 52.25 inches
Curt Coffi – 50.75 inches
Ryan Murphy – 48.5 inches
RJ Schulze – 48.5 inches

Scott Savko – 47.5 inches
Virsna Douet – 31.75 inches
