BBT Delta Wine 135 Boat Field

BBT Delta Wine Region launched out of Russo's Marina on the California Delta. We had blustery winds but that didn't stop the anglers from showing up and catching those Delta bass. We had a 135 boat field where the winners Casey Dunn and Clayton Eslick brought in a 5 fish limit of 35.06lbs, with a 9.47 anchor, a solid performance. Attributing some of their success to their BuckNBass gear, keeping them warm and dry.

Followed by Steve B Hoover and Keith D Hurney who came in second place with a great bag of 28.64lbs with a 8.49 kicker. Keith said that the Heavy Hitter vibrating jig in blue gill patterns helped put the fish in the boat.

In third place we had father and son team of Hunter and Peter Jacobson with a solid bag for 24.79lbs and a 6.67 big fish. Hunter said that their Abu Garcia rods and reels performed perfectly and that their fish came on a vibrating jig tipped with Berkley Pit Boss trailer.

Big Fish award went to Jon S Rodgers who caught his new personal beset for 11.26lbs.
