Demonet Captures ABA TOC Title on Cachuma – 7/31-8/1/21

After 6 regular season events on some of the top bass fisheries in Southern California, 35 anglers qualified for the 2-day Tournament of Champions on Lake Cachuma presented by Hobie held on 7/31 and 8/1/21.
Anglers were blessed with mild So Cal weather with in the low to mid 80s. The water temp was 78 to 79 degrees with clarity ranging from clear in the main lake to stained upriver.
The top producing baits were creature baits flipped shallow, Texas rigged worms, dropshot worms, underspins, Yamamoto Senkos and topwater walking baits.
Jon Demonet of Downey, CA was able to put together a solid 2-day total of 169.25 inches for the win.

ABA came out strong in 2021 and delivered some great prizes along with a very strong payout at the TOC:

Fourth Place - $700 and Minn Kota Power Drive from Angler’s Marine
