Shasta water level

Just checked the Shasta lake level on this site. Why are they releasing so much water rt now. Was hoping to see it start to go up with the recent storm. unreal

Just for an insignificant 15-30 lbs game fish in the river right now. Unreal, I know.....

You are absolutely correct. But I'm just assuming that this will be the bureaucratic BS political reason/excuse/lie for the man-made drought.
