I'm looking for a nice nanny cam!

Post by Sally56 »

Hi, I'm looking for a nice nanny cam. I’ve tried a few already, but the sound was pretty bad for all of them. It wasn’t clear, especially when my kids were speaking quietly or whispering. Could anyone recommend a camera with a good microphone? :?: :?: :?:

Hi! Do you need a camera with just a voice recording function, or one that does two-way conversation?

If it’s two-way conversation you need, I can recommend Homam. I've only been using it for a short time, but I haven’t used a camera with clearer sound. Have cycled through 3 cams before buying Homam, and it’s a must-have for me now. Worth every cent.

I've been using Vivint Ping for some time. No doubts, works pretty good.

I was walking through Wal Mart. I bought two wifi cameras which detect sound, have speakers, and were color at first. They use an app called Momentum. Cost was 50 dollars. I specifically wanted to detect pest, rats. I finally caught two possums invading my house. I used a raccoon trap from TSC. I needed the event detection and recording software. But the cameras can be viewed live through the app on the phone at any time. As long as the camera have a USB power source, it can be a charged battery but I am using AC power. You could use cameras such as these for live viewing. The software may not be appropriate.
