Huddlestons at Folsom lake

Any suggestions on key spots, points or humps or islands to throw the 8 inch rof 12? Seasonal areas? I have had success on big baits at Folsom mainly big topwaters but I’d like to dial in more confidence in my hudd box… do they stock trout once a year? I’d like to not drive to collins everytime to throw my Hudds consistently. Any help is appreciated. Merry Christmas!

I haven’t tried a swimbait at Folsom but sure appreciate your approach. I fish Comanche and am anxious to throw a big Megabass swim bait like Chris Zaldain. I tried it this summer with no luck but am thinking the trout plant will dial it up. Good luck to you and keep us posted! The chance of getting that one big strike makes heaving those big baits so worth it!
