Power Steering

Post by Jboutfishn »

Seastar Power Steering. Being an old guy with shoulders that are shot, I am thinking about converting the steering in my 2021 Z19 to the Seastar electric power steering. Trimming out to the "sweet spot" makes it a lot easier but I drove my buddy's Ranger with the 200 Pro XS with power steering and could not believe the difference.
Thoughts?

Do it, I did it on a old Skeeter 1998 and wish I would have done it the day I bought it. It's not that hard to change it out. All you need is basic man tools and someone to help with the lines and bleeding the system.

Thanks for the input. Did you use the plastic tube for the Compensating line with compression fitting or did you go with a "real" hose?

The hoses came with the Sea Star kit. If I remember correctly they come per order to the length you chose, measure twice too long is better than to short.

Ordered the SeaStar PRO Power Assist, PA1315-2, should be here 2/28. My old shoulders can't wait. :D
