Casitas Night Tournament Series Resumes on July 15th

The second of four 2006 J&T Tackle Night Team Tournament Series events will be held on Saturday evening, July 15th at Lake Casitas in Ventura County. Last month’s series opener was won by Mike Brakebill of Moorpark and Chris Rodino of Simi Valley with a very impressive five fish limit weighing 25.02 pounds. Their limit included a beautiful 9.42 pounder, the largest bass of the contest, which helped the pair to a record setting $5,110 in winnings. And while the winning weight at the series opener was less than anticipated, there were numerous fish over five pounds brought to the scales, proving yet again that the majority of big bass at Lake Casitas feed at night.

The entry fee for each 2006 J&T Tackle Night Team Tournament Series event is $150 per two-person team, with five side option pools offered at each event; a $20 Big Fish Option which pays back to the three largest bass at each tournament; a $20 Top-3 Option; a $20 Top-5 Option; a $20 “All Americanâ€
