Favorite worm company

Post by Lawley »

Since it is a fishing forum I will ask

What would be the one worm/plastic company you would choose if you could only use one?

For me I might go with zoom

I could go for either Yamamoto or Robo Worms, but I am surprised that Berkeley has not shown up on the favorites list.

Yum, I’m a cheapskate and like bulk for 10 bucks vs 10 bucks for 8 worms…

def roboworm... i caught more bass with them things than yall can count and if i had to go down to only one color itd be bitchin craw, personal favorite... there was a time when i bought em by the case lol nowadays i dred the dropshot rod mostly but idk im pretty good with that stick. you guys will laugh at my comment but i got drop shot skills fellas...  idk the flatworm and the crushbait stumpy are killer but i give it up to roboworm they changed my life for the better... but it did all begin for me with a big ol ribbon tail purple worm and a bullet weight b4 i knew what a drop shot was and since nodody gave ol school worming a mention i had to throw it in the mix some of these old guys might know what im talking bout lol...

the first plastic worm I remember came pre-rigged and had a wire running thru it with at least two hooks on it and a little propeller in front. It might have been Cream Lures. Just showing my age.

That was a creme worm. We used to sell them in our tackle shop back in 1973 at Clear Lake. The Iovino worm is as close to the R & R Stroker from the 80's as you can buy now. Robin and Ray Tackett got me my first aoy trophy and those worms are still in my boat  . It's true I still fish one once in a while when things are really tough. I only picked Yamamoto as the ONE worm company because while the robo worm is about all I use for "worming" while Yamamoto's Kreature,Twin Tail, Senko,Cowboy, Zako or Neko fat and Kut tail can keep me busy in so many other ways all year round.

I'll be first in line to say it - Berkely Fishing the wide range of plastics they have to offer is insane. The new gulp formulation for worms is $$$ especially the Hit Worm, DWorm and Flat-Nose. They have creature baits, flip baits, swimbaits and Gilly :D

Now don't get me wrong Ive got all of those brands yall mentioned above but if I had one bait manufacture Berkely would be high up on my list of consideration.

My favorite worm company is Bizz Baits.

I really like their Dizzy Diamond (finesse worm) and their Sassy Stick (Stick Worm)

They have great color options and they FLOAT! I also love the Garlic sent and added salt.

I fish the Dizzy Diamond primarily on a shaky head and the Sassy Stick gets wacky rigged most of the time.

The Dizzy Diamond has two other sizes. The Mag Dizzy and the Ned Dizzy. I like to throw the Ned Dizzy on a drop shot.

Check them out here!
