I have BG on one of my spinning reels (dobyns). Its a great reel for the price point. In my opinion the Daiwa BG is the one of the best spinning reels at that price point. Hope that info helps

I have a number of Daiwa Fuego LT spinning reels and am very happy with them. Been using them for 3+ years. About 18 months ago I was looking for reels for my wife and discovered the Daiwa Exceler LT reels. They are a bit less expensive and a main difference is the Fuego has sealed bearings and the Exceler does not. They have performed well. If you are only using them in fresh water then the Exceler LT is a good choice for entry level applications.
