I wouldn’t worry about the lake getting ruined ! the lake is down 150’ and dropping fast there is only 1 launch ramp left ! bring your kayak or tube !….

Minersville won’t run out of water. The ramp runs to great depths. The real problem may be parking as campers/houseboaters keep their vehicles at the ramps for days at a time while camping/boating. If you have 4WD, there are 3 other locations where launching is available.

Mike’s right! If you want to ruin the lake, post it on social media. In the old days you had to put in the time and work. Now you just open up your iPad, see what they’re using, then go Molly hock the hell out of them. Oh ya, Don’t forget to drag them across the carpet before you throw them back.

We know the recipe to destroy lakes! (Clear Lake) Low water levels, constant pressure from tournament series like NewJen, WWBT and BBT, plus live-well social media antics= TOAST!

it used to be catch , photograph and release ! now it’s catch , pack around in livewell for 14 hours,hold up 5 fish ( after dropping a few on carpet) , photograph and release ! that practice helps to destroy a fishery !

Sadly packing the live well for social media clout is here to stay. A tournament winning Apex Angler from the Redding area asked others to practice catch-photo-release to preserve this amazing fishery. However, his IG account shows him holding up 30 LBS every time he’s on Trinity! SMH
It’s here to stay! It is what it is…
