Hello,
I was looking to get a Powell Max 734cf, but everyone seems to be out.
How does the Dobyns similarly rated rod XP 734 compare?
Didnt Dobyns work for Powell?
I have a number of Dobyns rods & like their stuff, but i Know a lot of love is given to the Powell rods.
I'm looking for a new jig'n & spinnerbait rod. I prefer a fast rod, I dont care for a very fast rod. Both are rated as "fast", but prefer the softer tip.
If anyone cares to give their input if they have / or used these rods in the past, please share your experience. I typically use 17lb invizx. Thanks

Check out the 13 Fishing 7'4" cranking rod. I've caught big fish to 8lbs on it, in the thick grass on the Delta, and I was able to turn them and land them. I just caught a 7lb8oz on a chatterbait in the grass, and, even though it dug so hard and fast I thought it was striper, I brought it to the net, no problem.
It's only $70+-, so you can afford to try it without breaking the bank.
