Fiberglass repair recomendations

Post by Levy »

I am looking to get all of the dings and scratches on my Champion 198 repaired/fixed. I am in Livermore. Does anyone have any suggestions for a local shop? Thanks Jon.

I heard Benny’s Custom Marine is good. I talked to him on the phone but ended up going to Rivebank because it was closer. I think he is in the Pleasanton area.

I had Jason at C & C marine in Modesto replace the transom in my Champion. Did a great job.

Not exactly local for you, but https://www.braggsmarine.com/ does excellent work. Located in Anderson. He has a large warehouse, and all boats are always secure inside.

Top Notch quality with Braggs Marine - sometimes he will take his show out on the road in the Sacramento area. His finish is a work of art.

I know these jobs differ in price for damage and repairs, but for scratches and small dings what’s a range?

Since you're in Livermore, call Boatmasters and ask them who they recommend.

These two metal flake chip and scratches were $500 from Braggs.

Jeff and his folks have revived my elderly Ranger multiple times. Excellent work and great attention to detail.

I had the bottom of my boat repaired well years ago by some place a couple blocks past Livermore Lab off Vasco but I can’t remember the name of it? I’m sure Boatmasters has a good recommendation.
