Central Coast Lake Levels

Post by MikeR »

There have been some amazing gains for the Central Coast Lakes since December 1st with the storms that have hit. We have another good storm forecast early next week which will help the lake levels even more.
Nacimiento is now 41% full and still rising, coming up 35 feet!
Lake Lopez is 26.1% full coming up over 6' since December 1st.
Santa Margarita aka Salinas Reservoir has had the most gains rising from 60% to now over 91% full! It will fill with the next storm and from continuous runoff from the last srorm.

Kathy and I launched at Margie yesterday, it's 1 foot from the top and last night we had 1/2" at our house in Atascadero so by next weekend it should be overflowing. Didn't get bit though...
