QUEST FOR THE BEST
“Top anglers from four of the premiere tournament circuits in the west, will shoot it out on the California Delta for a chance at the inaugural WBS CROWN!”
DISCOVERY PARK
Downtown Sacramento
April 13TH -16TH, 2023
The inaugural Western Bass Shootout will be on the Famed California/Sacramento River Delta.
Daily takeoffs will occur from @Discovery Park located at the river’s edge of Downtown Sacramento.
In mid-April, the California/Sacramento Delta will show the world why it is a world-class fishery. Daily weights exceeding 20 pounds will be commonplace, and some anglers will have opportunities to top the 30-pound mark daily.
$200K Total Purse
Competitors will all be vying for a $100,000 first-place prize and a total purse of over $200,000.00, including a top-of-the-line Bass Cat boat and Mercury outboard prize package.
This is going to be one of the most spectacular events yet!

Very excited that our region has this opportunity. I pray the community and fans will come out to the Sacramento Convention center and discovery park april 13-16, 2023 to the support and watch the daily weigh ins and walk around the show.
April delta? There will be some magnum fish and bags weighed in.

A word of Caution
Be careful running down the stretch South of the Rio Vista Bridge along Hwy 160 there is a large tree branch sticking out of the water on the Brannon Island side.
Good Luck !

Wild West usually does a live feed on their YouTube page actually but there is usually a link through the social media pages. There is a separate webpage for the Western Shootout as well.... hope this helps
