Need Mercury Cowling Fixed 2008 150 Optimax

Looking to find out if anyone has had their Cowlings fixed after an Accident ( Well backed up into a brick wall lol) The Cowling has a crack now and the lock does not work correctly to keep Cowling locked to motor.

Or if you had yours fixed somewhere. I have access to the new decals, just need cracked sealed and made shiny black again.

is it a new 4 stroke motor or the older optimax cowling? I had a friend get a bad gouge taken out of a new 4 stroke cowling by Morrison's Marine in Sacramento. They have been around a long time and they did a great repair for a fair price. May try that avenue hope this helps you....

Thank You KB, My motor is the last of the Optimax series

A guy in Castro Valley said he will take a look at it and give me an estimate. I need to drive up to Stockton this weekend and pull the Cowling. If that does not work out for me I will contact you contact in Sacramento.
