Shout out to Danny Peluso!

Post by monte300 »

My boat broke down out on Empire Cut today and a total stranger named Danny Peluso towed us about 3 miles back to the Whiskey Slough ramp. You did us a real solid Danny thanks again!

It's always nice to meet a new friend on the water...especially when in need.

He’s a good dude….. he spends a ton of time and his own money traveling all over the state to be a captain for some of our highschool kids…. Donating his boat, time, and money to kids that are of no relation.

Danny is a great guy. He is an outstanding ambassador of our sport on so many different levels. He was just up here at Clear Lake volunteering his time with the high school fishing team tournament. The guy has a heart of gold and enjoys helping others. I will give him a call and have him check out this thread. 👍🏻

Thanks Troy I only spent about an hour with Danny, but I could tell he’s a good dude. Sounds to me like he has lots of good karma in the bank.

One of my favorite guys in NorCal bass fishing. He will literally give you the shirt off his back. Relationships are even bigger than the sport and what keeps it growing from generation to generation. Danny P is a true role model for sportsmanship and authenticity. Well done Mr Peluso!

It’s great to hear about old friends reconnecting. I remember when I first started bass fishing back in the early eighties. So many of the guys I met would act all stuck up. Generally speaking bass fishermen are a friendlier lot these days in my opinion.
