Lunker largemouth bass

Post by WB Staff »

Thanks to all the anglers who entered their Lunker largemouth bass into the Toyota ShareLunker program throughout the year. With nearly 500 qualified entries for the 2023 season, we have drawn our 2023 Year-end Grand Prize Winner. Please join us in congratulating Lee Beuershausen of Marble Falls, TX as the winner of a $5,000 Bass Pro Shops shopping spree! Lee landed a 13.34-pound Legacy Class bass from O.H. Ivie on 3/11/2023, submitted his catch to the Toyota ShareLunker Program, and was then entered into the prize drawing set for the end of the season. Lee also shared his ShareLunker with TPWD for the selective spawning program. Thank you, Lee for your support in making bass fishing bigger and better in Texas!

Do:you know where the term Lunker Bass originated?
Back in the late 60’s when B.A.S.S. 1st started (1968) they offered a decal for Lunker Bass over 7 lbs. As I recall the term was originate at Lake Kissimmee Lodge but don’t recall name on the decal I had on my big tackle box?
