Ram/Cummins mandatory recall

Post by birdman920 »

you may have received your recall notice 67A in the mail ? it’s for 2013 and newer Ram Diesel trucks 2500/3500 , it boils down to a mandatory emissions system pcm update/flash , it the recall is not performed DMV will not issue you a new yearly registration ! just wondering if anyone has done it yet ? and has it affected the performance of your Ram/Cummins truck ?

I have a 2019 2500 and had the flash completed at the dealer. I have noticed that the truck is more sluggish on the takeoff. My mpg has gone down as well by 2 to 3 mph. I don't push or hot rod it unless I am getting on the freeway quickly.

I had to do something similar with my Ecodiesel. Averaged 20mpg between towing, city, and freeway. Now I’m lucky to average 16
